The Woman’s Discovery Center is a community benefit organization where women connect through service, enrichment, and support.

The Woman’s Discovery Center’s two-fold purpose is to provide a place for a woman to be nurtured (to find those activities and relationships she needs to bring balance to her life) and to nurture other women (to provide opportunities to serve women in our community). 

What does the Woman’s Discovery Center Offer?

The focus is on reaching out to women and girls from all walks of life – from the stay-at-home mom to the working woman to the retired individual, to the university student, teenager, and preteen. A unique area of programming is “dabbler groups” for those who don’t view themselves as having talents in the areas of photography, visual arts, music, dance, cooking, etc., but who would like to “dabble” in those aspects of creativity in a fun, low-stress environment.  If someone discovers a hidden talent she wishes to pursue, we’ll be able to refer her to resources available in the community.

We actively seek opportunities to partner with other organizations in community activities and offer our volunteer services to assist other groups with projects when possible.
