Welcome to The Woman’s Discovery Center Webpage! We now have a wonderful physical space into which we can welcome you, but in the meantime we are so excited to invite you into our virtual home.  Please take some time to look around and see some of the things we’ve been up to as well as some of the things we are planning.  I hope you’ll join our email list so that we’ll be able to keep you informed of our programs and activities.

Every woman I know constantly searches for balance in her life.  I hope that you will find The Woman’s Discovery Center – either our physical home or our virtual home – a place that you can enter, take a deep breath, and leave the pressures and stresses of your life behind for a time.  The WDC welcomes women of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures to explore together our unique individual and collective gifts.

So, what do you do with your gifts? 

Here you can be nurtured and you can help to nurture others.  You can mentor or you can be mentored.  You can serve or be served.  You will have the opportunity to meet and have conversations with a wide variety of interesting individuals from all walks of life that you might not ever have the opportunity to come in contact with through your other activities.  You become involved in service projects, small and large, to make our community a better place for everyone. 

I’ve been advised that blogs should be relatively short but frequently posted, so that’s what I’ll try to do.  I’d love to have your feedback.  What do think of our site?  Do you have ideas for programming?  Would you like to volunteer?  There are links all over the site to sign up.
